Webwashing
Whoaaaaaaaaaa! Maybe this was here all along but I just now noticed the "flag" button on the upper righthand side of the Blogger navigation bar. Has this always been here people? Or is Blogger jumping on Alberto Gonzales' webwashing attack? My lord! Where is the justice? Where is the morality? When you can sell weapons and drugs on the internet but you can't write about sex between two (or three or more) consenting adults!

I don't know if it's ALWAYS been there, but it's been there a frew months now (I first noticed this summer)
Huh. I guess the blogger has no way of knowing if someone has flagged her. Figures. Have any of you sex bloggers been notified by blogger that your site has been flagged?
not me.
I flag my old blog's address pretty regularly too and they don't do anything to it, so I'd say we're "safe"
Blogger put up the that up so people can notify them of “Splogs” aka spam blogs.
There are thousands of porn webmasters who have put up useless blogs that just link to porn sites. Many of them just automatically created by software robots. The sheer noise and trash level started to give Blogger a terrible reputation.
Sadly some legitimate bloggers got hit. The ones I knew about had a fair number of links to commercial sex sites. Nothing wrong with that but I don’t think Google/Blogger’s team spends much time deciding which accounts to terminate.
If you care about the words you’ve posted in your blog then back it up to your PC in case you find that your site has been unfairly zapped.
Thanks Richard and d/e for clearing that up. I was worried Blogger was getting in line with the new policies being pursued by Tribe and the general hysteria around "obscenity" on the web.
Fuck on!
c.p.
